Ledge Route and CMD arete, Ben Nevis

Today i was back on Ben Nevis, 4th day out of 5, gaining the summit of Ben Nevis and Carn Mor Dearg via Ledge Route and the CMD arete. A few heavy showers early on in the day made the rock wet and lowered the clould level, so we didn’t get much of a view of the north face whilst along Ledge Route. The ladies made good progress along and we popped out of the cloud whilst we started our way along the CMD arete, getting views of the Mammores and Steall Falls.
