Today i was in Glen Nevis delivering a climbing day building on the mountaineering that we started yesterday on Curved Ridge in Glencoe.
We started on Scimitar ridge moving over the many small buttresses and parts of the ridge. The midges kept us moving and we covered lots of ground on warm, dry, grippy rock.
We then walked around to the Alp where we made an ascent of the classic climb of the ‘Gutter’ in 4 pitches and their 1st multi-pitch climb, before moving to SW buttress where the guys did a large abseil and a few harder climbs.
With arms tiring we started to descend to the small crag of upper pinnacle where we climbed a few short routes to finish the day.
Great day climbing in the sunny setting of Glen Nevis with munros all around, less midges would be go though.
