Today i was on Curved ridge in Glencoe teaching the basics of climbing ropework and movement.
We made good progress to the start of the ridge were we had dry rock and sun!
We looked at belaying a leader with a few short pitches up the initial steepening, along with good footwork skills.
With the sun shining we made good ground up the middle section and over the upper crux corner. With time in hand we made a traverse of Crowberry tower before gaining the summit of Stob Dearg one of the Buachaille Etive Mor munros.
Here i got my first view of the mountains in 5 days (before the showers came over). A good start to the working summer after lockdown: Ledge Route, 3 days on the 11 Skye munros and now Curved Ridge, i think my legs have got their hill fitness back!
