Aonach Eagach, Glencoe

Today i was on the Aonach Eagach in Glencoe, the weather was hot and sunny but as we got higher on the ascent the winds picked up keeping the temperatures down.

The guys made good progress to the top and the start of the ridge where we then started our way over the difficulties in strong, gusty wind. I would not want it to be too much winder on the ridge, with a few gusts moving us around on the narrow sections.

All along and over the narrow pinnacles we got great views of the ridge, the 2 munros we ascended and across to Stob corie nan Lochan and Bidean Nam Bian. As we descending from the summit of Sgorr nam Fiannaidh the temperatures went up and we were glad to have been in the cooler weather of the high mountains of Glencoe.
