The Aonach Eagach in Glen Coe was the route of today. With a less than favourable forecast and with the rain steadily falling on the walk in i wasn’t that optimistic for the day.
The ridge was wet and greasy and steady progress was needed to be sure of steady footwork. As we reached the pinnacles the cloud started to clear and the rock started to dry a bit. After 3 hours on the ridge we were over the difficulties and rewarded with great views into Glen Coe.
