Dragons tooth, Glen Coe

Today we were up the Dragons tooth ridge behind Ballachulish to summit the munro of Sgurr Dhonuill. Wading was the theme of the day. With the slight rise in temperatures the snow from sea level to about 700m was deep and heavy and slow going. We ascended the buttress next to the gully giving a good few pitches of grade 2 ground before moving along the ridge. Once on the ridge the snow was still mostly dry powder to the summit which again was slow going. A lot of windslab on most aspects along the ridge and summit area.
