Today was the 3rd and final day completing the Skye Munros on the southern end of the Cuillin ridge.
We first summited Sgurr nan Eag in breezy conditions before picking our way around the boulder field and rocky steps to the summit of Sgurr Dubh Mor. We were making good progress around the corrie and found ourselves at the ‘bad step’ to gain Sgurr Alasdair by early afternoon. The summit of Sgurr Alasdair was very greasy, so we took our time along the ridge to the top of the Great stone shoot, where we made swift progress back down.
A good 3 days on the Skye Cuillin gaining the 11 munros on the ridge but with only 1 view along the way, maybe better weather next time.
