The last day of the Skye Munros course and it was on to the northern and final 3 munros of Bruach na Frithe, Am Basteir and Sgurr nan Gillean.
It was a cold start to the day and the cloud was down from the start. We managed to get up to the peak of Bruach na Frithe before the drizzle came down. We quickly geared up in helmets and harnesses and made our way up to Am Basteir which was semi-dry and sheltered from the wind.
It was then the 11th and final munro of the week, and we made good progress up the technical west ridge to get to the summit. From there we descended the south ridge, which was sheltered from the wind and made the walk back to the pub.
