Skye Munro Course, day 2

Today our aim was to tick off Sgurr MhicChoinnich, Inaccessible Pinnacle and Sgurr na Banachdaich.

We made a good ascent up the side of the great stone shoot and into the gully below Kings Chimney. We then traversed around the famous Collies ledge and onto the summit of our 1st munro, Sgurr MhicChoinnich where we were exposed to the strong wind on the ridge.

From there we made our ascent up to the base of the In Pinn, where the wind was still strong and now a bit of drizzle was falling. The team did well summiting in tricky, cold and windy conditions. Everyone was glad to be at the bottom of the abseil to food and warm jackets, with the challenge completed.

From there it was a simple walk along to our 3rd munro of the day and then a simple walk back down to the road. Now half way through and 6 munros ticked off.
