The Ring of Steall was our walk today with the aim of ticking off another 4 munros in the Mamores and one of the classic horseshoe walks in the Highlands.
We started with the steep and long ascent of Sgurr a Mhaim to give the rivers in the Steall falls area a chance to decrease their flow by the end of the day.
With the 1st munro completed and the biggest ascent of the day under our belts we moved along the Devils ridge over the few rocky steps and onto Sgurr an Lubhair which used to be a munro.
With the rain easing but the wind blowing we ascended Am Bodach and then An Gearanach before we started the final descent into Steall medows. A quick swish across the river and a sunny walk out of Steall gorge saw us back at the carpark after 8.5hours of good walking.
