Today i was on the Ring of Steall on the Mamores. We started early to beat the heat of the day and the crowds in Glen Nevis.
We made a swift walk through to Steall waterfalls and up to An Garbhanach mostly due to being chased by the midges and horse flys. Once on the ridge we made our way over the grade 1 scramble section and on to Am Bodach, luckily still in the shade of the clouds.
From there we made our way round to 1001m peak where the decision was made to descend down the glen and back to the cars. It was very hot in the glen and there were great views to Stob Ban and Ben Nevis.
