With a weather window of 1 morning in 2 weeks, it was good that going up Ledge Route on Ben Nevis was originally planned for today.
We got amazing views of the north face of Ben Nevis on the walk in to the CIC hut and with blue sky as well!
We made good progress over the boulders to gain the ridge and made steady progress along before we hit the cloud base at the top of Carn Dearg.
Once at the summit, we decided to descend down Corie Leis to stay on the quieter north face and back to the CIC hut, with a bit more rain around.
A good day to see Ben Nevis most flattering side.
