With the forecast improving as the days went by i took a chance and decided to go for the Inaccessible Pinnacle as the 1st day out with Igor.
We made a quick ascent up to the base, taking a more direct line along the ridge. The weather was clagged in but mostly ‘dry’ with not much wind and in about 30 minutes we were all up, and down.
We then decided to head north along the ridge as it would be more sheltered from the wind. We made a direct ascent of Sgurr na Banachdaich along the ridge and then carried on to Sgurr a Ghreadaidh, when the heavens open just before the summit.
From An Dorus we then made a rapid descent in deluge back to the road.
