8 Skye Munros in a day

Today i did half a Skye Traverse. The focus was on having a challenge of getting as many munros completed but keeping light bags, so without a bivi.

The forecast was mixed and we didn’t get a view all day in the thick cloud. We started on the southern end of Sgurr nan Eag and made good progress north.

At the In Pinn by mid afternoon, it was at this point that the winds increased half way up and the rain started to lash down. The guys did well getting up to the summit and down the ab in gusty conditions. The rain lasted the next few hours as we made further progress north to An Dours, where we got our last munro.

of the day of Sgurr a Ghreadaidh.

All in 11.5 hours Glen to Glen and 7 hours peak to peak.
