Today i was on the north ridge of Stob Ban in Glen Nevis with JP and Derek who are planning a trip to the Alps for the Domes de Miage. We focused heavily on good footwork and ways to be efficient over the course of the day in the hills but also whilst crossing exposed slopes to avoid creating a slip. The snow was tough going up the ridge to the base of the rocky section with a lot of fresh snow being blown around. Once over the rocky and snow aretes we descended the munro of Stob Ban looking at ice axe arrests and techniques for walking down hill.
