Today i was on Ben Nevis via the mountain path. With a less than favourable forecast we steadily made our way up to the top of the zig zags. At around 1100m there was a light dusting of snow from the night but it was already raining on it and the rime ice was visibly thawing. It was still raining on the summit and i suspect that the fresh snow will mostly be gone by the end of the day.
