A quick walk up to the CIC hut at the base of the north face of Ben Nevis to exercise the family. The Ben is half dressed in snow with the level down to about 900m. Needs quite a bit more to freeze and to cover the rocks, but the main ridges of Tower Ridge and North East ridge look in full winter, Castle ridge was pretty snow free.
