Over the last 2 days i have been out with Pitor on the Skye Cuillin ridge. We haven’t had the best of weather but we have managed to get in some classic scrambling. Yesterday in the wind and rain we walked up to An Dours and got the peaks of Sgurr a Mhadaidh and Sgurr a Ghreadaidh. We then kept on the ridge and did some great grade 3 scrambling to take us onto the munro of Sgurr a Banachdaich. Today with a colder but improving forecast we headed into Sgurr dubh mor and Sgurr Alastair. But with the weather not improving as quickly as we were moving we decided to descend the great stone chute rather than carry on the ridge.
Interesting poo near Sgurr Dubh Mor, also how i would describle the weather.
