Curved Ridge in Glen Coe was the route choice today to build confidence on mountaineering ground for future routes in the summer.
The day was much dryer that forecast with only a few showers around. We made swift progress up the ridge looking at good footwork and balance along the way.
At the top of Curved Ridge we had time to add on the ascent of Crowberry tower that looms above Curved Ridge. This ridge is similar in character to Curved Ridge but a bit shorter and is a good addition to the day.
That also completes a great week of work in the hills for me, starting off on Tower Ridge, then North Buttress, Aonach Eagach, Observatory Ridge and finishing with Curved Ridge.
